Government of Jharkhand has signed an MoU with the world Bank to implement an ambitious project named Jharkhand Opportunities for Harnessing Rural Growth Project (JOHAR) through JSLPS.
JOHAR is a livelihoods project designed for ensuring sustainable livelihoods for rural producers of Jharkhand around key farm and non-farm sectors. One of the key outcomes of the Project is to double the income of at least two lac poor households in the state through promoting farmers’ producer organizations around high value agriculture and linkages to market, NTFP, fisheries, etc.
Jharkhand State Livelihoods Promotion Society (JSLPS) is a registered Society created by Government of Jharkhand in July 2009 to bring social empowerment and reduce poverty.
JSLPS is looking for a dynamic competent professional who is excited to join the organisation and take up the responsibility of Project Director – JOHAR. As the leader of project, Project Director has overall responsibility of accomplishing vision of JOHAR through successful implementation of project interventions.To attain this, Project Director will have to lead a large team of multi-disciplinary professionals functional at state, district and block level.
