Project Management  &  Operational Follow up:

●       Operational follow-up of the organic cotton project including capacity building– training activities, testing of samples at different stages by the third party

●       Contract management – Coordinate with cross-functional teams to finalise the contract format with legal and operational comments, coordination for contract sign

●       Farmer Remuneration/premium validation – Verification of the premium paid to the farmers and the evaluation of the report submitted by the third party

●       Segregation Management – Segregation of Organic cotton from the other types of cotton at the farm and Ginning stage.

●       Block chain project follow up

●       Support in shortlisting partners for the year

●       Factory visits are required, unannounced mode by default

●       Evaluate the performance of different third parties, implementation bodies and suppliers against the expectation

Certification

●       Ensure the valid certification of the entire supply chain for Organic, IC2 and other sustainable programs

●       Raise timely alerts to management/3^rd party in case of certification delays affecting the retro planning of production

Nomination and Traceability Audit

·         Visiting Ginning and spinning factories – assess the technical capability, traceability system and propose suitable factories to management for nomination in case of organic, IC2 programs and other sustainable programs

Data Management:

·         Follow-up on the data upload on the portal

·         Maintaining evidences and the database for areas like premium etc

·         Follow up on the timeline and the results of the test reports

Trainings :

●       Hold trainings as and when required for supplier, Carrefour teams

●       Following up for trainings for the supply chain

Secondary

Beyond Operations:

·         Knowledge/benchmark of different Sustainable Initiatives – BCI, OCA, CmiA, Cotton Campaign, etc.

·         Market Intelligence/Innovations on other sustainable material options

·         Follow-up of the Sustainable cotton initiatives implemented by other brands – Propose best strategies to management

·         Secure the other material Filiere on social & environment (Birla,etc.)

·         Explore opportunities for partnership with farm groups, Ginners and Implementation bodies/NGOs globally for Organic Cotton sourcing
