Anchor Water Security initiative for the geographical area aimed at ensuring drinking and irrigation water security for the stakeholders. |

• Primary & secondary data collection of project area for understanding situation of water availability in the area and analyze same to provide inputs for strategic plans for locations. • Developing guideline for water budgeting exercise, pilot testing with the community and mapping all the existing water bodies, drinking water sources & CBM well sites of project villages. • Field visit and Surveying the site for evaluation & compiling data of demand for domestic & Drinking water requirement from CBM villages. • Preparing technical details for proposal & intervention plan to address the demand of domestic & drinking water requirement for the community. • Monitoring of work order & coordinating with contractor for implementation of all civil/construction works for maintaining the quality and standard during execution. • Evaluation of executed civil work by the contractor, joint measurement of all civil/construction works & Co-ordination with Head office regarding end to end commercial processes. • Regular follow-up of Water Harvesting Structures to know existing condition and use of structures through periodically visits in villages. • Monitoring and data capturing of identified dug wells (Well Inventory) with support of Site S&OR and Geology team, analyse the data and prepare the impact report. •Work in cohesion with line agencies (PHED, Watershed, Dept. of Irrigation etc.) to improve water scenario in project villages. •Improve community ownership and drive in water harvesting with low cost solutions like Bori bandhan |
